Personal Development Mentor

The Role
As a Mentor, you'll draw upon your personal experiences and training to empower clients in overcoming obstacles and achieving their aspirations. In one-on-one settings, you'll provide tailored activity-based support, transforming everyday experiences into valuable growth opportunities. This may involve helping your clients to establish and pursue goals accompanying them to services, appointments and activities or simply being a trusted confidant. Your role is to guide clients through real-life situations, helping them navigate challenges and seize opportunities for personal development.
In addition to one-on-one work, this role uniquely involves the opportunity to co-facilitate group social programs, such as general catch-up activity groups, board game gatherings and creative activities like Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer and art workshops. While expertise in these areas isn't mandatory, it would be a advantageous!
As with any of our staff, you will also have the opportunity to create new innovative programs and shape the direction of the organisation!
The job is casual, however, could also be par-time (or build to full-time) for the right individual.
The average core clientele age group for this role is generally between 18 – 35.
